Awesome Malaysian ministry

I had an awesome time of ministry in Malaysia in the month of June. I was with 6 churches and a ministry for pastors and leaders and the Holy Spirit was there to minister to lives.

In addition I was able to take time out with a couple of pastor-friends to fish at Rendan Resort, on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and break.

It is always good being able to empower others for Jesus!

Pastors & Leaders Workshop, Klang

As usual my good friend, Ps Albert Ong organized this workshop for me. I ministered in two sessions, each attended by more than 70 people. The second session was a paid one and the turnout was simply great.

God called me to be a leader of leaders (hence my ministry of Insight, as mentor and coach to others), so sessions of ministry to leaders are always high on my agenda.

We had a great time of understanding transformation and acquiring the skills of public communication. The prayer for leaders at the altar was simply wonderful. I received good feedback of people being touched by the Lord. Others were in tears and many more were receiving prophetic words.

I guess another measure of ministry outcome was the fact that my books were selling like hot cakes - although the total proceeds were donated to Good Samaritan Homes.

Kajan Assembly of God Church

It was a wonderful privilege to minister in this church of over 15-20 nationalities including many foreign students from Africa. The Senior Pastor was most welcoming and I preached on Saturday evening, two Sunday morning services and conducted a Money Matters Workshop for 70 people on Sunday afternoon.

This is a great church and I can see God taking the assembly to great places. The congregation was very open and participation at the workshop was very good. It was revelation time!

First Assembly, Kota Bahru

It was a short flight via Firefly Airline from Subang to KB. Pastor Alan Tan of Harvest Kristian Church, Klang arranged this meeting and I am grateful for this opportunity.

I was last in KB some 30 years ago when my wife and I took a missions team from Singapore through this city to Southern Thailand. I felt good coming back to the very church where I stopped and shared as a young lay person. I was well received by James, an elder in the church and stayed with him and family for the night.

Ministry was good and I even had a mini-session into the night at the coffee shop next to the church!

Men's Fellowship, Peace City Church

We had a great, very open, candid session on Men Being Men. It was an eye-opener for many; what it means to be the man and high priest of the home. One person later came to me for specific prayers and I believe it was breakthrough for the individual. Another was determined to be a great husband....

The group was small - no more than 20 people but they were generous. I received my biggest single offering in this Men's group. Praise God. It is a measure of their touch with God.

Harvest Kristian Church, Klang

I ministered in this church on a Wednesday night Bible Study, a cell meeting on Friday night and the Sunday morning service.

The reception was incredible - people were like sponge soaking up the Word of the Lord. This is a good impacting church and I believe God is doing more as people are opened to the Holy Spirit.

Rendan Resort, Terengganu

Ministry was arranged for me in Kuala Terengganu and since we were in the city, we took time out for a break in the waters off the city. We flew into Rendan Resort and had a great time there before we crossed by ferry to the city for Friday ministry (Friday being the weekend as people here work on Sunday; this being the East Coast state that is more Islamic than secular).

Air Jernih Presbyterian Church

I was really privileged to speak in this wonderful Presbyterian church in the city of Kuala Terengganu. Ps Korshy Thomas was a wonderful host - and he was very open to the things of the Holy Spirit. I really appreciate that, being given the liberty to minister openly.

I had a great time with this church; praying for people at the end of the service. Though small, they are a definite light on a hill in this majority Islamic-party state.

The Lord willing, I would love to come by and minister again; maybe a church camp!

New Life Fellowship Centre

This ministry was arranged by Ps Thomas - and it was a God-thing. I ministered prophetically to many including a couple who accepted the Lord at the altar.

The pastor was amazed at the accuracy of the prophetic ministry and she was thrilled that the people were ministered in a unique manner.

Botanic Family Church, Klang

I returned to this church, my third time and was wonderfully received by Ps John Lim and family.

We had a most beneficial time at the Botanic Business Club workshop. It was well attended and many were receiving insight and wisdom to re-position their lives, careers and businesses.

Sunday morning service was very good with many at the altars for prayer - the Lord touched many and I believe He is bringing healing to this church in more ways than one! He is positioning this church for greatness in impacting the city and the country.

Ps John Lim is a good friend now - he gave up lots to serve in the ministry. He was a former Singapore EDB scholar who walked away from the corporate world to pastor a church.
