Cuba Ministry
I had a wonderful time in Havana, Cuba. It was an eye-opening for me to minister in this still relatively closed country....but God is good!
I met some really wonderful people, gathered an unique experience, met strangers who became friends, ministered in two churches among others, connected with others who were serving Jesus in Cuba (the unsung heros!) and saw the move of the Holy Spirit.....it was simply wonderful...
Enjoy the pictures - they tell a thousand stories!

Cuban Methodist Church, Havana
I made contact with a group of American pastors and leaders from Georgia, USA at the Methodist church - I was attending the Saturday evening service on my first arrival.
They were a wonderful group of dedicated people. Their organisation is helping Cuba in more ways than one.....it was a privilege to meet with them and see, hear of their great work. Their orgainsation is The United Methodist Volunteerism Missions or UMVIM. Check them out.

Guanavacoa Church
I ministered in this church of some 400 people - awesome to see the move of God. More than a third of the congregation were at the altar for prayers....many were in tears and falling all over as the Holy Spirit ministered to them....it was wonderful!

Iglesia Movinmento Cubano por la vida
This great church was established at huge sacrifices to the pastor and family. The church needs repairs and renovations.....but the spirit of the congregation is awesome. They love the Lord; they trust the Lord or as the Cuban says, "Jesus en ti confio"

Making New Friends
I made many new friends in Havana including a Filipino lady (married to a Cuban pastor) running an international church (English) in Havana. Flor Juarez was a most delightful person. I hope to connect them with fellow Filipinos in Cayman Islands.
Others like Eric Hernandez (and family) took good care of me - interpreting, cooking a dinner for me, visiting his home, guiding, helping and taking me to nice places like Chinatown, Chinese restaurant, walking the waterfront, visiting Old Havana town (which is real pretty - it is like Madrid in many ways).....

Cayman Outreach Associations
These great guys were instrumental in my going to Cuba. They funded the airfare and most of the accommodation. They were generous and helpful. It was their contacts. They love Cuba and have a mission to win that nation for Jesus. Gloria a Dios
