A wonderful visitation.....

The first week of July 08 saw me with a group of over 40 campers at Mt Evelyn Recreation Camp. It was the Youth camp of the ECC Boxhill Church

We had 8 salvations and/or rededications. 14 young people responded to the call of God on their lives on the final night of camp. 5-6 people were filled with the Holy Spirit speaking in other tongues. There were rededication from almost everyone who attended the camp.

You could see the fire and enthusiasm on the young faces - the last night was absolutely great. What an awesome time of visitation from God. The Holy Spirit gave the young people, especially those who were hungry and searching, an wonderful spiritual phenomenal. It was an experience that even Ps Josh said he had not seen before....

• One young lady (first time in camp; saved and filled with the Holy Spirit) just could not stop speaking in tongues (she got worried for a little while!). Every time she attempted to speak, even the next day, only tongues came forth and if she tried to stop the tongues, she would be shivering all over.
• One young leader was gloriously filled with the Holy Spirit - and made the loudest noises whilst on the floor! It was a breakthrough. She went from a non-tongue speaking persuasion to tongue-speaking practitioner!
• Another young lady was simply shaking all over; she was curled up like a prawn on the floor. At around midnight when she had a chat with me, she was still shaking....
• Two others could not walk after the event and had to be assisted by people, as if they are re-learning how to walk again.
• Others were laughing till their belly aches.
• Most if not all were weeping before the Lord.
• Many of the young people were slained at the altar without anyone touching them.

It was a divine time....and long after the experience peters off (as it inevitably would...) what's left behind would be awesome young men and women of God!
