Amazing things
I had tremendous ministry in Ambon! I had a first hand look at how much Christians suffered when Muslim Jihad extremists attacked Ambon churches 8-9 years ago. ROCK Church Ambon where I spoke had photos of martyrs including an Indonesian Chinese pastor and his 25 year old son in their building...

The seeds had been sown or the blood had been spilled......now I believe the harvest is going to be greater than ever...God is building His church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Ambon ROCK
I ministered to over 3,000 people in the Ambon ROCK church....it was simply wonderful to see so many received Jesus as Saviour during the Saturday Youth service - young people were lively and over 30 came to receive or reaffirm their commitment to Jesus.
I had three services on Sunday. On Sunday night, literally hundreds came to the altar.....man, I prayed for over 4 hours on Sunday night for people (a record for the church!), one at a time...and the Holy Spirit was everywhere...I was prophetic that night, people falling, shaking, crying, manifesting, healed, standing in amazement......awesome God!
I like Pak Chris Manusama's spirit......this man is going to release a generation not only to the nation of Indonesia but the world...for Jesus.....and Pastor Yoti (his wife) was a great interpreter.

ROCK Church at Ambon - beautiful structure. Each service sits a thousand adults....

Youth - there were many....on Saturday night

The Choir was outstanding - the worship and music is a class of its own!

At the end of the day, ministry in Ambon was great. I enjoyed it greatly and drew huge strength out of it. I drew on the beauty of the Ambonese worship and music, their great spirit - it was really good....Ps Chris said this is especially so after the crisis!
Jogjakarta
Ambon was actually the back end of my trip. I spent the first week in Jogjakarta. Jogja was a beautiful city - clean and unhurried. 3 reasonable size malls....and the Starbucks Cafe was the best spot in town!
I flew into Ambon from Jogja via Surabaya and Makasar on Friday 18th April - the journey was rather eventful. It was a bit scary having to turn back to Makasar because of bad weather......and the state of the aircraft in which I was in does not strike a lot of confidence!
More about Jogja......
GBI Church Magelang
I was privileged to speak at the Elders Dedication service on Friday night. Magelang is about 45 minutes out of Jogja. We had a great service and just about the whole church was prayed for as they came in batches to the altar.

Pastor Steven, Pak Hendro (centre) and Pak Steve Wee (Bethel AG Singapore) at the service.

ROCK Jogja Church
I was very pleased to meet Ps Chris Mesach - he was just recently back from the USA Midwest having spent four years there - first to study and then to pastor a church. He felt that his place in God was Jogjakarta - I was very impressed with that!
Chris and his wife Lydia are great host.
I had two services with ROCK Jogja - the Sunday night meeting was incredible. Many were ministered in the most personal manner. I also visited and ministered with a few members on a one-on-one or couple basis and the outcome were wonderful in that a word in season was always there for the individuals.

The Worship team at ROCK Jogja - there were good!
International Blessing Ministry
It was good to meet Ps Andrew Hendro who is now based in Bethel AG, Singapore with his family (Singaporean wife). I have heard much of Pak Hendro but never had a chance of meeting him....he became my interpreter in Jogja and Magelang. He is good.
Ps Hendro has a big vision to win Indonesia for Jesus - he envisaged that he will impact 200,000 leaders in the nation by 2015! His ministry (International Blessing Ministry) comprises a Bible College, church-planting work, Marketplace outreach and influence, connecting and coordinating for Leadership conferences and conventions.
I admired his courage and offer to assist him in his quest. He nows adopt me as his mentor - and soon we will have a few sessions including a Stratgey Session for his ministry and team, either in Singapore or Jogja.
International Blessing Community Church
IBC had its first anniversary as a church - and I was the speaker. What a privilege - the crowd was good, over 300 people attending. The ministry was good and the altar ministry was wonderful.

Sekolah Tinggi Theologia Asia
STT Asia is Ps Hendro's Bible College in Jogja. I was more than happy to minister and teach in a block of 4 days, two sessions each day on the subject of Biblical Finance. The teaching was based on my recent book Money Matters....Rally

Wonderful Pastors
I am always very impressed when I meet local pastors who are not only dedicated but good natured, kind and generous, great sense of humour and good friends who will go out of the way for you....
Pak Hendro - he never allows me to miss my cappuccino;
Pak Mesach & wife, Lydia - they connected me to a local publisher for a potential of having all my books translated into Bahasa Indonesia - this country is a huge market indeed when you consider that it has over 200 million people in population;
Pak Steve Wee - a great guy, former Commanding Officer of a helicopter squadron in the RSAF; he is a great supporter; generous, unassuming and has a great heart for the people of Indonesia - a champion indeed!
Pak Manusama & wife Yoti - they are very generous, loving and kind hosts - have great vision and a great church;
Pak Rissendo, Joji and Desty -man, do they look after me!
Pak Daniel Januar of ROCK Surabaya - he is the connector!

(Left to right) Pak Chris Mesach, Pak Hendro, Ps Steven, Filis and Pak Steve Wee - at the cafe for a cuppaccino, of course!
Thank you Jesus for these men and women....
