Without Limits
Ps Enzo, young Nat and I flew into Singapore with expectations. We were transiting to the Philippines for our second Pastoral & Leaders Conference...ours hearts were rearing to go!
We had a few days in Singapore and had wonderful ministry in various churches and groups. It was also good to catch up with many old friends - we had a BBQ at Loy's place (by the pool side) the night before we depart for Manila.
God is so good. In the short time in Singapore, we were both a blessing to many people. I spoke in a local church of approx 200 people at the Sunday morning service and we had an inspiring time with the Holy Spirit. I then spoke at the Youth group of 80 young people and the impact was just very pleasing - you never know what has been sown into young lives!
Singapore was great....but it was the Philippines that our hearts were focused on....and what a time!
Tacloban City - Here we come!
We arrived, a little tired as transiting through Manila into Tacloban City was quite a hassle.....to a rousing welcome from Ps Dennis, Daisy, and a group of Dream Quest X-treme Missions (DQX) people - Venus and Leo were there, so was Chong and a few others. We were garlanded with sea-shells....it was good to see the missionary couple again. This was my 6th trip....and it always felt good to be back.

Burauen
Our first assignment in the morning was to visit an old friend - Ps Mark Anderton, a British missionary ministering in Burauen, an hour out of Tacloban City. Mark and family have been faithfully serving the Lord in this part of the Philippines for years. We had a great meal in their home - as usual Belen was a great cook. Her banana-fritter was par excellence!
The fellowship was sweet and we had a anointed time of prayer for the family and the needs of the church, in particular for the Lord to release a piece of land for their church. We prayed for the Lord to remove every limit in their lives and church.

Burauen Prison
Ps Mark of Burauen Community Church also ministers at the local prison. We had the opportunity to minister to many in the locked up cell. Ps Enzo spoke of hope and that God has a great future for each one of us. It is so sad to see young people being incarcerated - for whatever reason. There were a sad looking bunch.....but the good part was that almost of all them accepted the Lord as Saviour that morning! We then prayed individually for almost all of them.

Metro Tacloban Evangelical Association of Ministers & Churches
This is my second time meeting local pastors in Tacloban City and ministering to them. It was well-attended. It is always a privilege and an opportunity to ministers to pastors. Ps Enzo spoke brilliantly about "Crossing Over" in life and ministry. We finished the session with prayers for some pastors.
It was good that Ps Philip Ng, Singaporean missionary for 27 years to the Philippines was with us. Having gone through difficult times, he was greatly blessed...Ps Enzo spoke prophetically into his life.

Dream Quest X-Treme Missions
Pastor Dennis, an ordained Minister of the Jireh Evangel Church Planting in the Philippines currently ministers as Founder and Pastor of Dream Quest X-Treme Missions, Tacloban City.

Ps Dennis speaking at the School of Leaders graduation ceremony..
In 1997 Dennis came to the Philippines and shortly established New Life Christian Missions in Tacloban City. In all, he planted 9 churches and pioneered New Life Missionary Training School. Over a 3-year period, the School graduated 16 students, many of whom are now serving in various ministries across the nation.
The ministry of Dream Quest X-Treme Missions came into being in 2006. It is a further expression of his deep sense of missions for Tacloban City. A church was pioneered with early success and the School of Leaders graduated its first batch of 11 students recently.

Pastors & Leaders Conference
It was a wonderful time of impartation, insights into the Word, inspiration and connecting with pastors and leaders for the future of Tacloban City. The ministry was brilliant - the Holy Spirit was there. We received many testimonies of how people were benefiting from our gifts, anointing and ministries. Many individuals came to talk about their "word in season". We see limitations, inhibitions, restrictions, constraints, bondages and oppressions being removed.
What was exciting was that there was a sizeable bunch of younger people at the Conference which speaks well for the City - and for the future.

The future of TAC Pastors & Leaders Conference
I believe this Conference will be a special feature for the City. It will be a Proclamation, a lid buster, an impact and an inflection point for Tacloban City.Hence, we have asked three pastors to come together and jointly take this Conference to the future.....to pull their resources together, hardness their churches and take this city....the pastors, the young people and many more...

The 3 Amigos! Pastors Gershon, Mark & Dennis. We are hoping they will unite and take the city!
Youth Conference
Undoubtedly one of my best Youth Conferences!
We had a slow start - and it came alive; thanks to Ps Enzo! By the time it was over, where among other things, more than a 100 young people responded to the call of God on their lives...the altar was choc-a-bloc with young people crying and falling...in dedication. I have never led that many people on a single session in response to a call on their lives! Awesome God!

School of Leaders, DQX Missions
We were privileged to witness and participate in the Commencement Exercise for the first batch of 11 graduates from DQX School of Leaders.
What a grand ocassion - it was colourful. The graduates were dressed in costume of different nations, representing their callings....it was fun, elegant, meaningful and anointed. By the time it was over, not a single graduate was left standing - they were all slained by the Holy Spirit!

New Life Chirstian Center
This is Ps Enzo favourite church!
This church is alive! The music is contemporary and the worship is first class. You can't sleep in this church. You can't be unhappy in this church. The Holy Spirit is in the church.
Ministry was great too. People were so hungry for God. Altars were full. The congregation was so supportive, you felt like you are a great preacher!

Youth Ps Ram & Wife, Jeannie - great worshippers!

Water Baptism
What a wonderful climate to our trip - water baptism, in the most public of places....at the MacAurthur Park in Leyte (this is the place where Gen Douglas MacAurther landed when he returned to the Philippines during World War II).
It was Easter hoildays and the beach was packed with people - everywhere as far as the eyes can see.
Ps Enzo and Dennis baptised three members....it was joyous and wonderful.

Food and Fun at the park - notice the BBQ Pig?

A new and afresh!
