God Encounters
I am a hard working fellow. I am a Driver.....no one needs to push me. I simply and all too often made things happen.... So for 2008, I decided to stop trying so hard and allow God to sovereignly move things my way (I call them God encounters)....and it was an awesome start to this year. I am beginning to see miraculous stuffs....
But first family matters.....
Chinese New Year
My wife, Dorothy and I went to Singapore for CNY Celebration. Of course we visited our Son, Joses and his wife, Nadia (they are now happily settled into work and ministry in Singapore....well at least for the next few foreseeable years) and my Mum but we spent most of our time in West Malaysia with Dorothy's other siblings.
It was a wonderful time of relaxation and fellowship; exchanging gifts and swapping stories. We visited Melaka, Port Dickson and Kuala Lumpur. It was good to catch up and allow the siblings to touch base with Christian witness as well.

A litte fun in Port Dickson.
Ministry in An Unmentioned Country
I had the privilege to visit and minister in a country whose name I rather not mention here in print - it was a wonderful time of Holy Spirit experience.
I conducted a Holy Spirit Clinic - and people were being touched during the practice; words in season were given by the practitioners, key words were inplanted in people's hearts, a person was healed of her back problem and many others were operating in the prophetic - people were in tears, 6 people were filled with the Holy Spirit speaking in other tongues as the initial evident....what an awesome time of seeing the gifts of the Spirit in operation. God encounters!

Holy Spirit Clinic in progress
Sunday morning saw me ministering the Word to over 150 people - and the altars was full! People were being prayed for and receiving a touch from God. Pastor was surprised by the turnout at the altar. God encounters!
Chinese Congregation
Wonderful opportunity too to minister to a Chinese congregation - and seeing 2 people received Jesus as Lord and Saviour including an elderly Chinese lady who had been fellowshipping with the group for some time but never ever receive Jesus into her heart. Again it was divine appointment!

Consultancy Work
I had a great time facilitating a strategic review for a Singapore ministry and doing a couple of workshops in Bangkok
Touching Young Lives International
- a group of businessmen, professionals and working people who had a heart for the lost in the Third World. It was fun to work with them as many are good friends who keenly support my ministry.KPK Management Services
I also conducted a Relational Leadership & Change Management workshop in Bangkok for a professional practice - it was a 2-day of great fun; besides it was paid work! This fits in with my consultancy, InSight (mentoring and coaching) and marketplace ministry.

MOPS
MOPS - Mothers of Pre-Schoolers; the Lord laid on my editor (Jasphia Tan) to commence this ministry for young mothers in Singapore. It has been growing strong and the ministry is seeing fruits.
I was privileged to minister to their Sunday gathering - and saw a young mother (who had been a Buddhist) receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior. Again divine provision! From the feedback it was a good word - a word in season for many. One mother was in tears and a couple others were touched by the specific word.

MOPS is a wonderful ministry - I reckon all young mothers should join and be part of this ministry. I reckon church should be alive to this ministry - and support it. What a potential outreach to the lost. Imagine how many young mothers there are in the world!
