2008 Without Limits Whatsoever!
I started 2008 feeling unwell - after a prolonged period of back-to-back ministry overseas at the end of last year, I came back sick throughout the Christmas and New Year season but praise God I am well now.
I have rested well and am ready for 2008 to unfold before me.
This is what the Holy Spirit showed me when I was praying at a Prayer Retreat for 2 days in the hills of Melbourne on the first week of January:
God is going outside the box for you. No more subscription to natural laws, economic laws, the law of commerce, culture, tradition or even customary practices. Instead you will subscribe to the law of the supernatural.
You will call into things that are not (Romans 4:17). You'll move into the phenomenal, the miraculous will be part of your landscape.
2008 would blow your imagination aside. It would be beyond your wildest dream as you see God unfolds before you. "Eyes not seen, ears not heard, neither has it enter into your heasrt the things that God has in store for you." (1 Corinthians 2:9)
God has given you plans but He is not anointing the plans. He anoints the man. God's anointing is on you for 2008.
Prayer Retreat, Melbourne
What a wonderful time at the outset of the year to be seeking God for his anointing and direction - to be Spirit-directed.
29 pastors and leaders gathered for this retreat and it was a wonderful time of prophetic impartation. The meeting was led by Dr. Kameel Majdali (and really was born out of the regular prayer and fasting sessions that he and I had over the last few years).
It was good old Holy Spirit praying. We were exercising Jude 20: "to pray in the Holy Ghost."
I was given prophetic incredible propehtic words by three ministers: Dr. Kameel Majdali of Teach All Nations Inc, Pastor Keith Hunslow, Evangelist to Africa, and Ps Milton Alvarez of the USA. There were extremely empowering quicken words.....awesome God!

Insight Workshop
I had my first Insight Breakfast/Workshop on the 12th January 08 at a local hotel in Rowville, Victoria, Australia. 42 people attended comprising Insight members and friends - and boy, did we have a wonderful time!
Dr. Kameel Majdali, Director of Teach All Nations Inc the key note Speaker spoke about Global Trends; on the need to understand the times and taking necessary actions to position ourselves for ministry and life. It was an insightful session. All of us enjoyed the session very much. It certainly brought a lot of clarity to us.....and clarity is what InSight is all about!

InSight is about bringing clarity of thought to the situation or the individual. It's about clarity of purpose, focus, structure and strategy. The more we understand, the better we act and the greater is the outcome. More than ever I believe God has uniquely positioned me, intentionally entrusted me, with a set of skills and resources for the clarity of thought leadership ministry.
We had great fellowship over breakfast. It was a great mix of people and profession. It was great to see a cross-section of individuals - successful inividuals - there that morning as InSight is a tie-up of pastors, ministers, professionals, business people and other leaders with a formal or informal alliance with Pastor Steven. The whole idea is to allow us to interact and connect for friendship, leadership, ministry and missions. I believe many were connected precisely because God puts people together in season.

My apology to those InSight members who were not at the workshop, either because you are on holidays or in other cities. I would highly recommend that you ensure that you attend the next one - somehow!
For those of you who are new to InSight, consider subscribing to this coaching and mentoring program. We all need accountability in life. We need mentors to coach us to be the best that we can be and the best that God wants us to be. To often we strive and bear our burdens in isolation.
