A Reason to Celebrate....
Our ability and desire to celebrate ourselves is a powerful tool in life. Too often we stay or go where are we tolerated instead of staying or going where we are celebrated. The ability to make "joy and fun" and being able to "flourish and blosoom in who we are" is imperative for healthy thinking and living.
I was simply too happy to be in NewLife Church not only to minister the Word but also to celebrate Pastor Ricky's 60th birthday. Ministry was good and the Holy Spirit was most welcomed.....but celebration was just wonderful.....it is good to celebrate the life God has graciously given us!

Penang Island
For the first time I was ministering and preaching in Penang Island. My last visit to the island was light years ago. We were transiting from Hatyai, Southern Thailand to Malaysia - doors were opened for Ps Phil Ward of Gateway International, Geelong and I to minister on a weekend in the island.
I had a great time with Tabernacle of Praise Church. Ps Geoffery Yee and family were most welcoming and hospitable. We have had two great meetings - the Sunday morning where a sizeable number of people stood up in response to the challenge and the inspiration of the Word. The night service saw over 20 people, older people, Hokkien people giving their hearts to Jesus. They came to the altar to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. Praise God!
Ps Geoffery commented that whilst the Hokkien folks [especially the unsaved ones] characteristically talk to each other, and loudly during service, that Sunday night, they were rapped by the word. They were all attentive - and many were saved.
I was celebrating....it was the best service ever and it made my trip!!

Hatyai Conference
Ps Phil Ward and I spoke at a Southern Thai Conference for pastors and leaders. The current turmoil in Thai politics and the specter of terrorism in Southern Thailand is scary but God was with us. We wanted to bless many pastors and leaders in these difficult times - and many were indeed challenged, renewed, inspired and blessed.
Matter of fact, a bomb went off not far from where our conference was the day after we left the city. The Thai pastors wrote to say that they were thankful that God was with us - we were troubled-free including the two night public meetings. The final night was packed to capacity. Many individuals were wonderfully touched by the presence of the Holy Spirit. One of the young ladies demeanour was like from night to day!
It was indeed a great reason to celebrate....enjoy the selection of pictures....

Managing Transitions in Life Workshop
I conducted this workshop for 60 over people at the Kajan Assembly of God Church. For a Monday night, the attendance was more than I could ask for.
The people were really blessed with tremendous insights - many came to me after the workshop to say that they thoroughly enjoyed the session. It was celebration time - doing what I love to do; facilitating others to transit their life's journey.
I sold many books and together with the other meetings/services, raised over RM2,300 for Ps Albert Ong's Good Samaritan Homes in Klang during this trip. God is good!
My thanks goes to Joseph Lee for organizing and arranging this special workshop with his Senior Pastor.

Radiant Life Family Camp
This is my second camp [back-to-back] with this church in Cheras, KL, Malaysia. The first time was a Youth camp; now it is Family camp. Ps Jason Quah is a friend and we had great fun ministering to the people.
Five people including three children accepted the Lord during the camp. Many more were touched by the Lord. Others drew strength from the prayer and altar sessions. The presence of the Holy Spirit was most welcomed. Many more were simply in tears.
We even managed to "smuggled" a Managing Transitions in Life workshop into the camp schedule - the final session went till 45 minutes past midnight!! Talk about celebration!
The church is in transition - the timing was impeccable. I am sure the people are now much more informed players than they ever were. God was preparing them for a major change.

I was most happy to meet Ps Seow and his wife, Evelyn in my host home. Ps Lawrence is a good friend of Johnny Woo, my host in Cheras. It was great time of dinning and fellowship - what a celebration of friendship and comradeship.
Ps Lawrence Seow had been a major inspiration in my transition journey from CEO to Gospel Minister - he was a great example to emulate....celebrating the itinerant ministry for the last 10 years!

Celebrating Mum's 80th Birthday
My eight siblings and I had a great reason to celebrate on Saturday night 9th June 07 - it was Mum's 80th birthday. We have more reasons to celebrate because Mum recently went through a rough patch with her health. Praise God she is doing well now and we are believing that God has granted her at least 10 more years of qualitative life....
We were in a local hotel, had a private room and all 32 of us [extended families] [one grand son is in the USA studying] had great reason to be joyful, thankful and rejoicing in the goodness of the Lord.
