Exhilarating and exicting!

I was in Singapore in early August for Clarence Ting's wedding. We were given a wonderful blessing by his parent, Steven and Kwai Ying - they booked us at the Hotel InterContinental for two nights. Thanks guys.

Then it was on to Indonesia.....

Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI)

I was in Surabaya for a week of ministry. It was an exciting trip as I had not been to Surabaya for more than twenty years. It was exhilarating - God was so good. I had a great time of ministry, imparting to others and connecting for Jesus.

I spoke in GBI at Plaza Marina and Menorah. Many were touched by the Holy Spirit. I particularly like the Youth group. The boldness of this church is truly God-given. This church and its people are making an impact on the nation.

It was also a great time of fellowship. Ps Daniel and his wife Lisa were great hosts. I was also very pleased indeed to meet Ps Timothy, the senior pastor as well.

National Youth Leaders Camp

On a off-day I went along with my friends, Ferdi and Bram to a Malang Resort to visit the Youth Camp. To my surprise, I was asked to share and minister to the young people - there were over 500 of them.

It was the eve of Indonesia's National Day and I was asked to pray in their behalf for the nation. Then I was requested to lay hands and pray for the young people which I did; over 300 of them. Many of these were dedicating their lives for Missions. I did not finsished till around half past eleven that night. The praying spilled out to the road side at the Resort where I prayed for the Camp Leader, Pak Sonny and his wife as well as many of the Camp organisers. What a wonderful night! God was gloriously in their midst.

Ferdi & Bram

I met Ferdi and his wife Wikwik in Melbourne (in the Promise Church) where Ferdi recently completed his Master's program at the Melbourne Uni. Ferdi was responsible in connecting my ministry with GBI - thanks Ferdi.

They were wonderful hosts - hospitable and totally caring. Ferdi was a workshop speaker at the Malang National Youth Leaders Camp and I was glad that he asked me to come along.

Bram works with Ferdi and Bram is an absolute gem. What a gift from the Lord. Bram was totally generous - he is hosting my new website (free of charge) and is in process of setting pages for my art work; StevenGallery Watch this space.

CWS-NJEC Camp

Ps Philip & Monica Lee were very generous and hospitable hosts. Praise God for their kindness.

I thoroughly enjoyed the camp at Puncak (up in the mountains around 80Km from Jakarta). It was a great camp - many were touched by the Lord. Five of the campers were filled with the Holy Spirit. A couple of campers were healed of their sickness - one was able to cross her legs for the first time in many months and another was able to sleep really well (and missed breakfast the next morning!) after suffering countless difficult and/or sleepless nights before. Praise God!

The Word was powerfully preached and many testified to the inpsiration of the spoken word. Truly God's word is inspiring; they are alive and can go deep into the inner divide of our hearts and souls. I was so glad that the Word has found a rich dwelling place in many hearts.

I had given many take-aways for the campers. I was extremely pleased to see many campers made commitments to speak in tongues for 10 minutes, Mon-Fri for the next three months. Surely this fellowship with the Holy Spirit is going to produce signs and wonders in their lives. Amen!

Dr. Kameel Majdali

Ps Kameel is a good friend. We fast and pray together once every three months. Our last session on the 3rd August 06 was a very good one. We pactised what we preached - we have been doing the waiting and letting God does the happening! Praise God - He is doing wonderful things in our ministries.

On the 3rd August I also met up again with a great guy - Ps Milton Alvarez from the USA (he was staying with Dr. Kameel). God is connecting people..... I was glad that I was able to have an InSight session with Milton when we last met - and he is benefiting from it!

Destiny Church

I spent the week ending 27th August in Sydney ministering in Destiny Church, Castlehill. Praise God for a wonderful time. I conducted a Managing Tranisitons in Life workshop on Friday night - it was well attended and certainly very well-received. I prayed for the sick on Sunday morning and I believe that "the prayer of faith will make the sick well."

Ps Paul Jeya had this to say:

"Thank you so much for your wonderful ministry this weekend to us all at Destiny. We were blessed by your words of wisdom and encouragement. The church was really blessed by your message this morning. Thank you for being obedient to the voice of the Holy Spirit and speaking into our church. "

Singapore - Again!

Yes, I am heading back to this island in the first two weekends of September 06 - to minister for two weekends. Always good to be returning to my second home and seeing my son and his wife; and of course catching up with really good friends! Praise God - He is so good!!
