"... and nations that do not know you will hasten to you.."
"...And nations that do not know you will hasten to you..." [Isaiah 55:5a] In the last quarter of 2005, I felt the Lord wanted me to stay put in Australia for the greater part of the first half of 2006. I had been extremely busy for most of 2005 and wonder if this is God or largely a result of my own initiatives.... so I decided to turn down overseas ministry and stay Australian.
With that verse, I felt that God will open new doors for me and bring my ministry to the next level. The results? It's been exciting since the commencement of the new year. New ministry doors were opened. My calender is fast filling up and the continuing and increasing envolvement of my strategy and facilitation work has produced great outcomes. One such exciting ministry is my recent trip to Perth.
FGA Marketplace Forum
My first workshop for 2006 - thanks to Dr. Chong Tek of the FGAMarketplace Church, Perth and sponsors such as PC Oasis, Church in Perth and Priority Television Network. The workshop was on "Managing Life's Transitions" - it was well attended from a cross section of people. Many were really blessed and received tremendous insights into their personal challenges that initiate transitions whether welcomed or otherwise.
Feedback had been most positive - it was divine appointment for many. One participant said, "You have been like as cold water to a thirsty soul." Praise God.

Consulting Work
I had the privilege of working with four parties - professional individuals to small businesses. My role was really to bring clarity to their situations and lives; understand inflection points and help each move on to a new level in business and life.
The outcome was extremely positive. I really enjoyed seeing the sense of understanding, relief and a lively hope that springs up at the end of each session written on the faces of those involved. Clarity is a most powerful tool in life. Those who have clarity and the resulting focus are the true leaders in life!
Perth Ministry
I had a wonderful time ministering in two churches on Sunday.
Zion Praise Harvest is a dynamic church, full of young people. The worship was awesome and uplifting. I spoke on "Seeing our Potential" and the Lord touched a lot of people. Pastor Joyce [wife of Senior Pastor Patrick Chen] said it was a word in season. Being able to lay hands and pray for young people is great.
FGA Marketplace, is a church beyond the walls. It is exciting to see a church endeavoring to connect to market places in order to exercise an increasing influence on the community. I spoke on the need to go back to basic - the heart, the totality of life for Christ from the heart. I had a great time praying for many at the altar.
Ps Dr Chong Tek and wife, Goldie were most kind and generous. It was great to fellowship with the couple again. On Monday morning, we had a meeting and both pastors spoke into my life - seems like an inflection point is taking shape in my own life.
Gateway Community Church, Geelong
My wife, Dorothy and I had an awesome time in this church last weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the worship of this fabulous church!
Ps Phil Ward and his leadership team had been kind and extremely generous. I saw a sphere of influence coming out of this church - God is going to position people from this church with honour; they will occupy positions in the secular world and be an inflection points for all those around them. Their influence will impact society in a huge way.
Truly new beginnings will spring forth from Gateway CC. God's doing new things in this congregation.

Awesome Worship team!

I also conducted a Finance Workshop for this church on Saturday 11th February 06 - it was a time of receiving insights and understanding how to position our finances for the future. The feedback was very good. I am sure a few people will have changed behavior towards the issue of wealth creation!
ECC Casey
Pastor Ken Teo and his core team gathered for a Saturday workshop - to plan and strategise for this exciting Evangelical Community Church (ECC) church-plant in the south east of Melbourne. I was privileged to facilitate the session and help bring more clarity to the issues at hand.
Among the team members were Pastors Geoff and Ava Stafford [they were classmates with Ken at Bible College], a great Australian couple who are concurrently Board Members of Re-Gen Ministries Inc. Geoff and Ava moved from country Cannon Creeks to Berwick - for this church-plant, I think!
Pastor Ken felt the call of God back to Australia two years ago. In that time, God has shown his great faithfulness. Many more of the team members felt a similar call to bless this nation. Now a church is about to be planted. God is doing something wonderful for this city!

Serious discussions!
