"And who is equal to such a task?"

Leyte-Samar Centre For Change

There is a growng trend of street children living and sleeping on the streets of major Philippines cities. Many succumb to glue sniffing as it not only gives them an escape from reality but also a full feeling in the stomach. Ps Margaret caught a vision for the work in August 2001 and by February 2002, Centre For Change was formed. The work is powerful and impacting.

Centre For Change has building permits for twelve homes for children. How many can they reach? How many do you think they can rescue from the streets of Tacloban City? What part will you play? If you are interested to help please contact Pastor Dennis and Daisy Koh.

New Life Missionary Training School

It was a pleasure to teach at this School of Ministry. This is my third visiting lecture. I thoroughly enjoyed the sessions. It was insightful and prophetic - and it was good to meet with British missionary Mark Anderton when he came for three sessions.

NLCM Tacloban Church

We had three nights of Revival Meetings for the Youth in Tacloban City. It was wonderful to see how God ministered to needs. On the final night, we have an awewsome visitation of the Holy Spirit. We did not end the meeting till around half past eleven. It was a phenomenal! Pastor Dennis and many others had sore vocal cords the next day - but in the midst of all that, Dennis was healed of a sore jaw.

Burauen Community Church

I had the opportunity to preach in Pastor Mark Anderton's church. Burauen is an hour south of Tacloban City. It was a divine appointment - not planned for but happened. The Holy Spirit moved in a special way. One girl gave her heart to the Lord. Many were at the altar for healing, for a touch and for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Many of the boys from the Centre For Change were at the altar for prayers. It was wonderful.

8th Anniversary Celebration

NLCM Tacloban celebrated her 8th anniversary. I was priviledged to speak on this great ocassion. It was a time of dedication and reflection. God has been good to the pastors and missionaries. I challenged them to "move out of their comfort zone" to their next level in ministry.

Borongan City

This city is about 5 hours from Tacloban City. Beautiful coastal roads hugging the east of Samar Island, Central Philippines.

Ps Dennis travelled with me for the ministry. There appears to be an "open door" in heaven for this church plant. The presence of God was very tangible. I was especially glad to be there in part because I raised funds for this work and personally put in some support for 6 months. We had two nights of great meetings. On the second night we had 8 salvations! We were praying for the sick as well. The pastor was really happy and felt the potential for the place.

Time Out

Pastors Dennis, Mark and I had a time-out. We took to the only golf course in the Island. It wasn't the best golf course in the world (cow grass) but it was good enough. The little that I know I taught both the pastors to swing. I must admit that they were good...considering it was their first.

Tacloban Christian Church

Again a divine appointment. I wasn't meant to minister in this church but it came about. It was very good and I was blessed that the leadership and people were greatly inspired and encouraged. This is a Chinese church in the city. So I had a great meeting on the final night of my stay in Tacloban City!

GodatWork Church, Singapore

It was a privilege to hold a strategy workshop for this church. It was a full day workshop and I believe clarity of focus and mission came out of it at the end of the day. I believe God has a lot more for this church.

Centre of New Life, Youth, Singapore

I love seeing young people crying in the presence of the Holy Spirit. I ministered to the CNL Youth leadership group and had many prophetic words for the young ones. The presence of God was awesome. I can only stand in awe to know that these young hearts are "sealed" for the courts above!

Bethel Assembly

Good to be back for the second time this year in my "home" church in Singapore. I ministered in two services on Sunday. I felt that I had a word from the Lord for the church about what true spirituality is - and I preached from my heart with passion. I believe many were touched as evident by many standing up in response to the Word.

In the afternoon I ministered to the young people. What a pleasure to see so many at the altar giving their all for Jesus. Many were weeping and many were touched by the Holy Spirit in a special way. Again, I would much prefer seeing young people crying before the Lord. Something will click inside them for the future!

One good thing about preaching in Singapore (or transiting Singapore) is that I get to meet my Son and his wife. We had a good time of fellowship and family time...dinners and all.

Pastors Network Prayer Retreat

It was my first prayer retreat with that many people. It was time-out for me [after many ministry trips locally and abroad in as many months] in beautiful but cold country Victoria. (Marysville is very near to Lake Mountain ski fields.)

It was a wonderful time of waiting before the Lord. A time of deep expression and appreciation for the faithfulness of our Lord. A time of personal reflection. A time of personal repentance. A time to soak and cultivate the awesome presence of God so that ministry becomes a natural outflow of His presence in my life.

It was also a time to encourage each other. A time of fellowship. A time of unity. A time of praying for the city of Melbourne.

Re-Gen Ministries Inc

Re-Gen Ministries Inc had its Annual Board Meeting on Sunday night, 7th August. This is RGM inaugural financial year ending June 2005. All Board members attended the meeting followed by a celebration dinner at Ken's place.

The Board recorded a maiden year with great joy. As we look back, we recounted many divine appointments in meeting each other in the first instance. God has divine assignments for us, individually and corporately as a team of ministers and leaders.

Indeed for RGM there were many milestones. Among them were:

  • Birth of RGM

  • Registration & incorporation of RGM within 3 days

  • Opening of RGM Bank account within the week

  • Obtained ABN Number

  • Endorsement for Charity Tax Concession

  • Launching of RGM Website [to be repackaged the second half of 2005]

  • Networking of itinerant Ministers with similar passion and vision

  • Open doors for ministries in many countries, including Nepal, Philippines, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, New Zealand, UAE and Australia

  • Publication of the first book

We are expecting for great things in the years ahead!

ECCI Nunawading

We had a great Sunday morning. The service was well-attended and the presence of the Holy Spirit was awesome. Many were touched by the inspired Word and many more were at the altar being ministered to. I believe this Sunday was a "defining spiritual moment" for the church. God will from this point lift the church-plant to the next level of spirituality.

Pastor Ken Li Koh and his leadership team are "seeing" exploits for this congregation.

Ballarat City Church

Ballarat City Church - been through a lot lately but watch this space. This church is about significant influence and impact.... beyond the borders of the city.

ministry-0021-01.jpg
Ps Don Gall during Sunday morning

My wife and I had an awesome time in the church. We were prophetic to the church and to many individuals. The presence of the Holy Spirit was pronounced - and how we enjoyed His presence. Sunday night saw a move of the "word of knowledge". Many were at the altar for healing in response to the word. Halelujah!

What a divine assignment. Ps Don said our ministry was "very timely for both Julie and myself". I believe a major defining moment took place on Sunday. Or as I like to put it, a major inflection point took place for the pastors and church! Praise God.
