A Glorious Three Weeks in the West
World Impact Centre
Ps Christian Cortes is a "Q" Jumper - halelujah!
He was at the Leadership Workshop at Malaga and decided that he would have a mid-week session with me for his leadership - core group. Christian and his wife, Karen are planting a church in Leeming and already have a core group of 30 people.
We met on Thursday night at his brand new home. It was very good. I was able to leave the core of my strategy review framework with Christian. I know there is value added as Ps Christian latches on really quick. The model in a sense has articulated for him what has been going on in his mind and heart! Praise God. What a divine connection -and he "Q" jumped for it! When it comes to the things of God, we all must be "Q" Jumpers!

Matt and Nina were great servants - they provided transport for me not once but twice. Thanks guys.

Pastors & Leaders at the Workshop
Ps Chris Friend arranged a Leadership workshop for pastors and leaders of the Integrity Network of Churches at Malaga - and we had a great time obtaining insights on "What is Strategic Leadership?". Another component of great interest was "Managing Culture" - there were interesting questions being asked. Participants were greatly encouraged, inspired, challenged and blessed. The feedback was very good.
Chris turned out to be a good friend of Dr. David Lee of Maranatha Christian Assembly, Singapore. David and I go back to the late sixties when we both attended Bethel AOG. And my ministry to Chris was introduced by Ps Stewart Tan of Grace Assembly, Perth - again Stewart and I trace our roots to those early years in Bethel. What a small world!

Sunday morning, we were ministering at Ps Heather Waye's church in Dianella. Though we were small in numbers, we had a great time in the presence of the Lord. The prophetic words were there, sharp and pointed. Something's cooking in this church...

I met Dr. Tek Chong and his wife Goldie during my first trip to Perth in November 2004. It was a God arranged meeting - leading up to pivotal work with the pastors and the church in the week.
Sunday service was very good. The Word was inspirational and many at the altars received prophetic words. There were a few instances of God touching and ministering to individual needs in a very personal way.
The following Friday was a whole day session on strategy review with Dr. Chong & Goldie. It was proftiable work. I believe the pastors and the leadership (met the leadership group on Saturday for a "buying-in" sesion) now have clarity of their focus and missions. Dr. Chong & Goldie are apostolic people and with this clarity they will take the church and their ministry to the next level.

Dr Chong, Goldie and their leaders were excellent and generous hosts. We subsequently met again with the pastors for a sumptous Chinese dinner in a very good restaurant south of Perth. Thank you so much.
New Life City Church
Pastor Eu Yat Wan was most generous and helpful.
We had a wonderful time ministering to the Young Adults on Saturday night, conducted a "compressed" strategic leadership session for leaders on Sunday morning and of course preached and ministered in the main Sunday service itself.

A wonderful infrastructure in Osborne Park!
Ps Stewart Tan and his wife, Pauline were old Bethelites, Singapore. It was a pleasure to meet, fellowship and minister in their church.
I conducted a workshop over two nights on "Ownership, Wealth and Financial Independence" - the feedback was excellent. The sessions were pragmatic and gave participants "hands-on" tools to position or reposition their lives for influence and abundance. And then of course, to serve out of that abundance! I think the people will remember the 80/10/10 rule for some time.
Sunday morning was very good. The presence of the Lord was there in a most tangible way. Many were touched and ministered by the Holy Spirit and prophetic words.

The Chia Family
Dr Tony & Elsie Chia were most gracious to allow us to stay at their home in Rossmoyne. It is a beautiful home with stunning views of the Canning River. Thanks Dr Tony and Elsie.

Friends and Fellowship
Great to have friends -
- Chris Friend took me out for a cuppa and great fellowship. Thanks for the book, Chris.
- Met Mama & Papa Ong together with Donald, Puay Choo and family. Had a great dinner at their home in Leeming. Thanks for dinner, Mama Ong.
- Met with Ps Paul Botha of Beachside Community Church - had a cuppa and a really good chat. Keep up the good work, Paul. I was most impressed with the inaugural service report.
- Yat Wan and I had a Monday "branch" in a Malaysian restaurant. There I met one of his members, Peter Tan who remembered me because we were together in Bethel AOG, Singapore during the late sixties!
- Lorna Tan & Leon picked us from the airport. Dennis & family had two meals with us - and they paid for both. Thanks very much. We had a wonderful time of fellowship.
Ongoing Ministry
This weekend, 31st July, I will minister in two services for Ps Don Gall of Ballarat City Church.
In the week, I'll attend the forthcoming Russian trip meeting with Kameel and friends, the City Central District Pastors meeting and a "Teo" Day with Dr. Kameel Majdali [a day set aside for us to consult, interact, debrief, connect, fast and pray for and with each other and our ministries].
Do continue to pray for me and my family.
