Ministry in Singapore and Malaysia

Great to catch up with my son, Joses and his wife, Nadia. They are both doing really well. Nadia is working in a church whilst Joses is doing his National Service. Praise God for this lovely couple - they are such exemplary people. Dorothy joined us in Singapore. We were a family again for a season!

Ps Paul Lansdown

Pastor Paul Lansdown of Bayside Christian Church, Melbourne, a good friend ministered in a Youth Camp in Brighton Community Church, Singapore. Paul also ministered at Centre of New Life Church, Singapore. He then moved up to Malaysia and had an awesome time ministering in Rehabilitation Centres, Homes and churches in KL, Klang, Kampar and Ipoh.

God moved mightly that Sunday night. A woman troubled by an evil spirit was manifesting - the awesome presence of God was every where!

Ps James Lee
Pastor James Lee of Singapore teamed up with me for the Malaysian segment of this ministry trip. James had travelled with me numerous times for ministry in different countries.

Ps James preached at PCT Church in Sunway on Sunday 19th June 05. The Lord moved in a special way. Many were at the altar and many were falling down even before he could pray for them. The presence of God was very strong that morning.
Ps James also ministered with us in Kampar, Ipoh and Chemor before returning to KL for his business appointments.

The team in Ipoh....great time!
Early Careers, Riverlife Church
I conducted a finance workshop for this group of young adults at the Suntec City NUS Guild House. It was a great time of giving practical financial insights to the young people. The workshop went really well - Pastor Jospeh Ong and Jackson Lim were very happy with the outcome. Matter of fact, they are thinking of repeating this workshop but extending participation to a larger group of people in the church.
It has been my heart's cry to minister to people not from a position of "ought to" but "how to". I believe in equipping people with practical tools for life. Praise God.
God@Work Church
Ministry in this church was meant to be a camp - it was not to be. How often events do not turn out the way we envisage.... but for the better. This was the case with the church.
We have had three awesome meetings, Sunday morning and 2 nights on Monday and Tuesday. The presence of God was awesome. Many people were touched and blessed by the word of knowledge, the prophetic word and many more obtained incredible insights into what a practical faith is about. Or as one person said, "Monday night sermon changed my entire outlook in life."
Pastor Molly Tay, the interim pastor and her team of leaders were outstanding hosts. They were very generous indeed.

Berean AOG
Spoke and minstered at Ps Gary Poon's church on Sunday morning prior to moving up to Malaysia for a camp.
The church is at an inflection point. I was glad to be there and to speak a "word in season". I spoke about passion for God and compassion for man. Almost all members of the congregation were at the altar. The Lord ministered wonderfully.

Bethany Chapel
It was good to meet with Ps Joyce Williams and Ps Gurmit Singh of Bethany Chapel in Kepong.
I conducted a "Mananging Transitions" workshop on Saturday morning. The turnout was very good - we had an awesome time. Many were greatly challenged and encouraged to start new beginnings in their lives.
Had a great Youth service where one young person gave her heart to the Lord and another simply wept at the altar. Many were touched by the Holy Spirit. I like to minister to young people. I believe in positioning the next generation for Jesus!

I also ministered on the two morning services on Sunday. Had a great Father's Day service and it was great to be able to pray for many fathers and families. Ps Joyce was both generous and kind. I stayed in a very poush hotel on Saturday night in KL. Thanks!

Faith AOG Camp
I have had a great camp at Berjaya Times Square with Faith AOG, Singapore. Ps Andrew Ong and team were great and generous hosts. God moved in a "special" way. What an awesome time spent in the presence of God. God touched the young people in a unique manner.
I believe this church is being positioned for favor. Once again God will favor this church and give a new positioning to this church; a positioning for significant impact and influence.

Always glad to minister at the Full Gospel Businessman Fellowship. I spoke at a few chapters and was glad to be a blessing to many.
Strategy Session for Centres and Homes
I conducted a strategy session for leaders and pastors of Centres and Homes in Klang. It was very well received. Many were blessed and there was a change of mindset that night.
A couple of people spoke to me about God changing their mindsets following the session. A renewing of the mind - that's a positioning for victorious Christian living and ministry.

Managing Transitions in Life
In all I conducted three such workshops in Malaysia - in Bethany, Good Samaritan Home and The Men Fellowship, Glad Tidings Klang.
The turnouts were very good. The responses were positive. The impact was good. Many were challenged and encouraged to commence new beginnings in life. Many were inspired to resolve issues and challenges in their lives by looking at starting new curves in their lives focusing on significance and meaning and not just success and achievements.
I am happy even if one person, arising from the workshop transits successfully into a new life of significance and meaning - and begin to impact his or her surrounds for Jesus.
Bethel AOG
Great to be back in Bethel - my home church when I was young. Good to connect with many old friends as well.
I was led by the Holy Spirit to speak about positioning the 3G for the future. Church is about people - especially the next generation. I was pleased that God touched quite a few lives that morning.
The Youth at Bethel has always been in my heart. Many were weeping before the Lord at the altar. This is really good as I believe they can't have enough of the presence of God. Young people need to be positioned for God always - the world and the pressure is simply too great.
