Take the Nation Shake the World

Sydney is a magnificant city. I was there to attend the 2005 AOG National Conference. It was my first conference as a credential minister of the Australian AOG. It was a refreshing time indeed. I am excited to "take the nation and shake the world".

Inspiring messages from key note speakers

Awesome worship to an awesome God!

Hillsong Church - venue of Conference
Someone said, "Nothing happens unless first a dream." At the Conference, we were encouraged to "have a dream". To have the tenacity to pursue our dreams. To keep at it until the outcome arrives. Discouragement and setbacks will come but if we hang in there long enough, we will prevail. Praise God.
It was also really good to catch up with so many friends and to meet new ones.
Indonesian Christ Family Church
Prior to the Conference, I had the opportunity to minister to two youth groups in this church in Sydney. We had a wonderful time. Many young people were touched by the Lord. Some were crying at the altar and others stood up in response to God's word. One young man accepted the Lord as Saviour on Sunday afternoon.

I was back in Sydney for the week ending 15th May 05 to conduct a Lasting Relationship workshop for this church in West Pennant Hill.
The workshop started on Friday night and ended with 3 sessions on Saturday morning. It was well attended. Many were blessed by the insights into why and how of lasting relationships. We discovered that God is indeed relational. Many of the participants povided positive feedback - how this was going to help them be better parents. Praise God.

Section of the congregation on Friday night
I spoke on Sunday morning and it was a very good service. Many responded to the word of God. I had prophetic words for the Senior Pastor, Ben & Evelyn Saw... God is moving them into the realm of the supernatural - the illogical, the uneconomical and the irrational. To show that He can use the foolishness of this world to display His splendor and glory!
Pastors Richard and Lilian took very good care of Dorothy and I. We had a great time of fellowship and encouragement.
Calvary Tamil Church - Strategy Review
I was privileged to facilitate a day strategy session for Calvary TC, Dandenong to help bring clarity of focus and mission to the church. I spoke for Pastor BG on Easter Sunday this year - this contact led to our whole day session.
It was a very interesting and insightful day. Clearly the leadership team now has a common platform from which to focus their resources and energy. Besides, this was opportunity time to develop good rapport and understanding. I expect changes to take place to bring this church to the next level. There is now a new positioning for the future. Praise God.

Youth ECC BoxHill
It was forum night for the young people. I was given 5 very interesting but complex questions, ranging from the issue of clubbing to divorce in marriage to address. The group was split into three groups to review some of the questions - they had great answers. I was very impressed as the answers were fairly indepth and balanced. It was a blessing to share with young people. I believe in shaping the core beliefs of our next generation.

A group deep in discussions.
Business Strategy Session
I was connected to J2K, a distributor for 3G and Orange mobile phone network. It was good to work with Kenny Koay. The outcome had been very good and fruitful - for the both of us!
Managing Transitions in Life
This workshop was conducted for over 40 people at the ECCI, Blackburn facility. It was well attended - and participation was good. Ps Ken Teo organised the workshop with the view to help individuals transit and move on to the next curve in life. My prayer and hope is that many who attended would "see" new beginnings in their lives.
To have clarity on one's destiny and calling resulting in one commencing a purposeful new curve in life before the exisiting one peters off is empowering and transforming. Hence, even if this workshop serves as a catalyst for one single individual transiting to something significant, it would be worth the while! Praise God.

A word of prayer during workshop
Ministry in Melbourne
Had a wonderful Sunday service at the Promise Church - my home church. Many were on their feet in response to the word of God. I had the privilege to pray for the entire Pastoral team.
Visitors from Grace Christian Church
A group of young adults from GCC, Sydney was attending a conference at Bayside. We were privileged to host them. It was good fun and fellowship - and nice "cheese"!
