Surely I was made for more than this
I feel really honoured to be the first person to read your first book. I thoroughly enjoyed editing it.
Have to tell you this. You know just before reading Halftime, I was asking those perinent questions about whether there is more to life than kids, that surely I was made for more than this, etc. Then in June, you gave "KL" the book and I devoured it ferociously in 2 days because it came just at the right time. I did exactly as Buford advocated, sat down and pen down what I considered to be my talents, giftings and passion. And guess what, "editing" was one of the first few items on the list. I silently commited the list to the Lord and lo and behold, shortly after, one of the pastors at Bethel AOG approached me to do some editing for the church bulletin, followed by you. So when you approached me in the camp, I was actually a little stunned by how fast my answer came!
In the meantime, Bethel Community Services also approached me for something else high up on my list. It is totally amazing! Though that is a bit slow in coming, I am really quite excited as to what is to come.
Thanks for all those words you have spoken to "KL" and me over the various dinners and suppers we had together, you did not realise it but they have been such an encouragement and blessing to us.
